An oil-injected screw air compressor unit is mainly composed of two main parts: the main engine and the auxiliary machine. The main engine includes the air end and the main motor of the screw air compressor. The auxiliary machine includes the intake and exhaust system, fuel injection and oil and gas separation system, cooling system and control system and electrical systems, etc.
The air passes through the air filter first for filtering the dust and substance, and goes inside the air suctioning hole. Then it mixes with the lubricating oil. After being compressed, it goes into the oil and gas separation barrel. After separating, passing the minimum pressure valve, cooling system and water & gas separator. the air comes out from the screw air compressor can be used.
The functions of the lubricating oil of screw air compressor are as below:
1. Cooling function. As a coolant, it can effectively control the temperature rise caused by the compression heat release;
2. Lubrication function. As a lubricant, which forms a lubricant film between the rotors;
3. Sealing function. As a sealant, it fills the leakage gap between the rotor and the housing and between the rotor and the rotor;
4. Noise lowering function. It can reduce 10-20dB for the screw air compressor.
