The working principle is that a pair of male and female rotors (or screws) which are parallel to each other rotates in the cylinder, so that the air between the rotor slots continuously generates a periodic volume change, and the air is transported by the suction side along the rotor axis. To the output side, the whole process of suction, compression and exhaust of the screw air compressor is realized. The air inlet and the air outlet of the screw air compressor are respectively located at both ends of the casing, and the slots of the female rotor are also driven by the main motor to rotate.
For example, the main motor power of the original screw air compressor is 75KW, and the operation mode is star-angle decompression starting and heavy after the full-pressure operation. The specific operating procedure is: press the start button, the control system turns on the starter coil and opens the oil shut-off valve, and the screw air compressor is started in the unloading mode. At this time, the intake valve is in the closed position, and the bleed valve is opened to discharge the oil and gas. After the pressure is reduced for 2 seconds, the screw air compressor starts to load and the system pressure begins to rise. If the system pressure rises to the upper limit of the pressure switch, that is, the take-off pressure, the controller closes the intake valve, the oil separator is deflated, and the compressor runs at no load until the system pressure drops to the lower limit of the pressure switch. Under pressure, the controller opens the intake valve, the gas separator vent valve closes, the compressor opens, the oil separator vent valve closes, and the compressor is fully loaded.
